Dr. Carly Conly - Medical Director
Dr. Shanna Olson - Medical Director
Dr. Shanna Olson completed her medical degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 2002. Following her family medicine residency, she worked as a locum tenens physician in Saskatoon and then Calgary. She also practiced community-based family medicine in Winnipeg for several years before moving back to Saskatoon permanently to be with her family. Dr. Olson has been practicing family medicine and maternity care here in Saskatoon, and is excited to be one of the founding partners of CMC. Dr. Olson loves treating whole families, from infants to the elderly. Her special interests include maternity care, women’s health, sexual health, and pediatrics.
Dr. Olson is married with three beautiful children and two dogs. She loves reading, travelling, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Sarah Williams - Medical Director
Dr. Sarah Williams is one of the founding partners of CMC. She completed her medical degree and postgraduate studies at the University of Saskatchewan and began community family medicine in 2003. Women’s health, obstetrical care, and pediatric care have been major focuses of her career from early in her training to present and she is proud to be part of multigenerational care within families. Over the past five years she has also obtained additional training in musculoskeletal care and exercise medicine.
Dr. Williams is married with two boys. She loves spending time with her family and her dog. Most days she can be found walking, running, or biking the trails around town.
Dr. Schaana Van De Kamp - Medical Director
Dr. Schaana Van De Kamp completed her undergraduate education in psychology and nursing prior to entering the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. She also completed her family medicine residency at the U of S and has special interests in women’s health and obstetrics.
Dr. Jana Patenaude - Medical Director
Dr. Jana Patenaude completed her medical degree through the Northern Medical Program at the University of British Columbia and her family medicine residency at the University of Saskatchewan. Since completing her residency, she has worked in community family practice in Saskatoon. Dr. Patenaude is excited to be joining the wonderful group at Cornerstone Medical Clinic. She loves treating whole families in all stages of life – from prenatal care and low risk obstetrics to care of the elderly and palliative care – and every stage in between.
Dr. Patenaude is married with two wonderful children. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Emily Sullivan
Dr. Emily Sullivan is a recent graduate of the University of Saskatchewan family medicine program and a lifelong resident of Saskatoon. She is thrilled to be starting her practice at Cornerstone Medical Clinic where she will be seeing patients in both the Women’s Clinic and the Newborn Care Clinic. She is also excited to begin running the first Breastfeeding Medicine Clinic in Saskatoon here at CMC! When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children.
Dr. Jolly de Guzman
Dr. Chelsea Schemenauer
Dr. Chelsea Schemenauer is a family physician with a passion for helping patients achieve their best potential health. She enjoys the broad scope of family medicine, especially preventative health, women’s health, obstetrics, and pediatrics. Dr. Schemenauer grew up in rural Saskatchewan and earned a B.Sc. in physiology and an M.D. from the University of Saskatchewan. While based in Prince Albert, she completed her rural family medicine residency and worked as a full-service family physician for several years. She returned to practise in Saskatoon in 2016.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Schemenauer enjoys running, dance, reading, her husband’s cooking, and chasing after her daughters.
Dr. Jacqueline Bucko
Dr. Jacqueline Bucko completed her bachelor’s degree in physiology before entering medical school at the University of Saskatchewan. She completed her family medicine residency through the University of Alberta rural program. Her areas of interest include women’s health, obstetrics, and prenatal. Dr. Bucko is married with three children.
Dr. Erin Stevens
Dr. Erin Stevens is thrilled to be joining Cornerstone Medical Clinic in the summer of 2019. Dr. Stevens completed both her medical education and family medicine residency at the University of Saskatchewan. She has a passion for women’s and sexual health, but enjoys seeing patients of all ages and stages! Dr. Stevens is looking forward to doing obstetrics as part of her family practice.
In her spare time, Dr. Stevens enjoys the arts and all things active. She is very excited to begin her family medicine practice in her hometown alongside amazing staff at Cornerstone Medical Clinic.
Dr. Jennifer Duda
Dr. Jennifer Duda, BSc MD FRCSC, is a generalist OB/GYN, providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care for her patients. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Regina before completing her medical degree and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Duda has a passion for improving the care of women and provides consultations for the broad range of women’s health issues. She has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Her practice covers the medical and surgical management of a variety gynecologic disorders including but not limited to menstrual disorders, abnormal pap smears, endometriosis, and pelvic pain.
Dr. Laura Weins
Dr. Laura Weins is a generalist Obstetrician/Gynecologist with a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery. She grew up in Regina and completed her medical degree and residency in Saskatoon at the University of Saskatchewan. An interest in advanced endoscopic surgery brought her back home to Regina for her Fellowship.
Dr. Weins has been in practice since 2014; her interests include general gynecologic issues such as menstrual disorders, contraception, colposcopy, as well as obstetrical care. She has special interest in the surgical and medical management of fibroids, endometriosis, and chronic pain.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, camping, getting outside with her dog, and spending time with her friends and family.
Dr. John Matic
Dr. John Matic completed medical school at the University of Alberta and came to the University of Saskatchewan for residency training. He graduated from the Department of Family Medicine in 2009 and has since remained in Saskatoon. Over the past ten years, Dr. Matic has shown interest in numerous areas. He is a family physician – primarily at the Student Wellness Centre, he is an OR assist for various surgical specialties, and he worked part time in the Emergency Department until 2019.
Since 2019, Dr. Matic has offered minor surgical procedures at Cornerstone Medical Clinic. His clinical interests include minor surgical procedures (skin biopsies, treatment for ingrown toenails) and men’s health. As of January 2022, he will also be accepting consults for initiating and continuing gender affirming hormone therapy for transgender patients.
Dr. Matic is a full-time father of three amazing children.
Dr. Jennifer Wood
Dr. Jennifer Wood completed undergraduate and Master’s degrees in engineering before entering the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan – where she also completed her family medicine residency. Since then, she has practiced general family medicine in Saskatoon. Dr. Wood has a special interest in breastfeeding medicine, as well as tongue and lip tie releases. She enjoys working with families in the breastfeeding clinic at CMC to help them meet their feeding goals.
Outside of work, Dr. Wood enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children.
Dr. Brandon Canaday
Dr. Brandon Canaday is excited to be joining the team at Cornerstone. He completed his undergraduate and medical training at the University of Saskatchewan. He has special interests in men’s health and vasectomies.
Dr. Corina Getz
Dr. Corina Getz has been a family doctor in Saskatoon for many years. She completed her undergraduate and medical degrees, as well as her family medicine residency at the U of S. In 2019, she received her fellowship in family medicine designation.
Dr. Getz joined CMC in December of 2022 and has shifted her focus more toward women’s health, maternity, and newborn care. These have been areas of passion for her for many years and she is thrilled to be spending more time offering this type of care to our patients.
Dr. Getz loves traveling, doing pottery, and spending time with her family and two dogs.
Dr. Seirin Goldade
Dr. Seirin Goldade completed her B.Sc. in Immunology at McGill University in 2008, her undergraduate medical education at the University of Calgary in 2011, and her residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Dalhousie University in 2018. She underwent additional postgraduate training through the Clinician Investigator Program at Dalhousie University earning her M.Sc. in Community Health and Epidemiology in 2020. She has been in practice since 2018 – initially doing locum work in Alberta, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. She began her practice in Saskatoon in 2020 and has been with Cornerstone Medical Clinic since 2021.
Dr. Goldade is a generalist in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with a passion for teaching and research. Her research interests include risk prediction modelling, the application of clinical and administrative data to research and inquiry, and the long-term impacts of pregnancy and lactation on maternal health and physiology.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Goldade enjoys music, sunshine, and time spent with her family.
Dr. Ryan Frehlick
Dr. Ryan Frehlick’s journey in medicine began at the University of Saskatchewan, where he earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees. He plans to deliver comprehensive care in both community and hospital environments encompassing the full spectrum of family medicine, with particular interests in obstetrics, pediatrics, and women’s health. Outside the clinic, Dr. Frehlick is an avid sports enthusiast with an active lifestyle. Balancing his professional and personal life, Dr. Frehlick also cherishes time with family and friends.
Dr. Jennifer Knibbs
Dr. Jennifer Knibbs attended the College of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan and completed her family medicine residency training in Saskatoon. Dr. Knibbs has a full scope family medicine practice, with a passion for women’s health, obstetrics, and pediatrics. Prior to medical school, Dr. Knibbs completed the Bachelor of Science Nursing program and worked as a Registered Nurse.
Dr. Knibbs loves spending time with her husband and two young daughters, getting together with family and friends, and socializing as much as she can. Dr. Knibbs is excited to be working alongside the great team at Cornerstone Medical Clinic!
Dr. Aden Mah
Dr. Aden Mah completed her kinesiology degree, medical degree, and family medicine residency through the University of Saskatchewan. She practices full scope family medicine, with a special interest in obstetrics, newborn care, and urgent care. Dr. Mah thoroughly enjoys teaching medical students as well!
In her free time, Dr. Mah enjoys playing various sports, particularly soccer, squash, and pickle ball! She also cherishes quality time with family and friends. Dr. Mah is thrilled to be practicing in her hometown, beautiful Saskatoon.
