Cornerstone Medical Clinic is a full service Family Medicine Clinic and referral center for obstetrics and gynecology.  All of our family physicians are certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada, and our specialist physicians are certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.  Below is a list of services we provide:

women's health clinic

Our group of family physicians offer extensive women’s health care to patients who regularly see our physicians for family practice AND also to women who self-refer or who have physician referrals.  Our services include:

Self-referral
  • pap smears
  • screening for sexually transmitted illnesses
  • contraceptive counselling
  • IUD insertions
Physician referral only
  • prenatal care
  • consultations with obstetrician/gynecologists

We accept physician referrals for low-risk maternity care.  If you are pregnant, we would love to meet you to discuss what we can offer you at Cornerstone Maternity!  See the tab at the top of the page for more information.

 

breastfeeding medicine clinic

Cornerstone Medical Clinic is accepting referrals and self-referrals to our Breastfeeding Clinic, the first of its kind in Saskatoon. Reasons to see a breastfeeding physician include:

  • you are pregnant and plan to breastfeed your infant
  • you have struggled with breastfeeding previous children
  • you are beginning to breastfeed your infant and have questions or concerns
  • you are struggling to breastfeed your infant (concerned about latch, nipple pain, weight gain, milk supply, etc.)
  • you are interested in inducing lactation to feed your baby
  • you think your infant may have a tongue or lip tie
  • you are introducing solids into your baby’s diet
  • you are a breastfeeding mother who is returning to work
  • you are wanting to wean your infant or child

 

CMC is actively involved with the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine and residency training programs.  At times you may be involved with undergraduate and graduate learners.  Please welcome these future doctors!
