Cornerstone Medical Clinic is a full service Family Medicine Clinic. We provide medical care throughout all the stages of life from newborn to the elderly. All of our physicians are certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and are in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.  Below is a list of services we provide:

women's health clinic

We offer extensive women’s health care to patients who regularly see our physicians for family practice AND also to women who self-refer or who have physician referrals.  Our services include:

Self-referral
  • pap smears
  • screening for sexually transmitted illnesses
  • contraceptive counselling
  • IUD insertions
  • emergency contraception
Physician referral only
  • prenatal care
  • menstrual irregularities
  • endometrial biopsies

 

cornerstone maternity

We accept physician referrals for low-risk maternity care.  If you are pregnant, we would love to meet you to discuss what we can offer you at Cornerstone Maternity!  See the tab at the top of the page for more information.

 

newborn care clinic
We accept referrals from hospital/roster physicians and Healthy & Home for babies born in Saskatoon who do not yet have a family physician.  We provide care for these infants up to 3 months of age.

 

breastfeeding medicine clinic

Cornerstone Medical Clinic is accepting referrals and self-referrals to our Breastfeeding Clinic, the first of its kind in Saskatoon. Reasons to see a breastfeeding physician include:

  • you are pregnant and plan to breastfeed your infant
  • you have struggled with breastfeeding previous children
  • you are beginning to breastfeed your infant and have questions or concerns
  • you are struggling to breastfeed your infant (concerned about latch, nipple pain, weight gain, milk supply, etc.)
  • you are interested in inducing lactation to feed your baby
  • you think your infant may have a tongue or lip tie
  • you are introducing solids into your baby’s diet
  • you are a breastfeeding mother who is returning to work
  • you are wanting to wean your infant or child

 

musculoskeletal health

Dr. Sarah Williams accepts referrals for the following services:

  • evaluation of sport-related injuries
  • evaluation of musculoskeletal complaints
  • evaluation of pelvic floor concerns
  • joint injections (also Dr. Jacqueline Bucko)

 

CMC is actively involved with the College of Medicine. At times you may be involved with undergraduate and graduate students. Please welcome these future doctors!
